Relations and Functions

Class 11 · NCERT Chapter 2

Given two non-empty sets A and B:

A × B = {(a,b) : a ∈ A, b ∈ B}
  • If n(A)=p, n(B)=q, then n(A×B)=pq
  • A × B ≠ B × A in general
  • A × ∅ = ∅

Why this exists

It started with one specific problem.

My mother teaches higher-secondary mathematics with a textbook and a board. She kept asking me to make teaching decks for her chapters. PowerPoint took about 40 minutes per chapter. AI tools produced slides as images — fine at first glance, but impossible to fix when a formula was wrong, because changing one symbol meant regenerating the whole slide.

The fix was simple: give an AI a chapter PDF and mDeck's connection, and get back a markdown deck. Every formula is a text string. Every fix is a text edit. You and the AI keep working on the same file — nothing is locked inside an image.

What it's built for

Technical content, handled properly.

Everything here serves one goal: keep the content exact and the effort low.

∑

Formulas render exactly

KaTeX math inline $...$ and block $$...$$ on every slide. No screenshots, no approximations, no hallucinations.

AI

Hand the AI a chapter

Connect Claude or any MCP client. Give it a PDF. It returns an editable markdown deck — formulas, code, and all.

✎

Write, then present

A live split-pane editor with preview. Separate slides with ---. One keystroke to full-screen.

◑

Pick one theme and write

Six themes, seven fonts, chosen once per deck. The design is deliberately minimal so content stays the focus.

⤓

One click to PDF

Clean continuous layout. All math and code preserved exactly as they render in the slideshow.

⌘

Publish and share

Make decks public. Let others copy and adapt your work with one click. Organise everything in a nested category tree.

AI native

Give Claude a chapter. Get a deck back.

Connect Claude to your account, drop in a chapter PDF, and it generates a full markdown deck — headings, bullets, KaTeX formulas, code blocks — saved straight to your library.

Every formula stays a text string you can edit. No regenerating images, no copy-pasting from a screenshot.
